We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled zero-hours Spa Therapist to join our team at University Arms Hotel part of the Marriott International Autograph Collection.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING
As a Spa Therapist, you will be able to continually surpass expectations by delivering outstanding comfort and seamless attention to detail to every guest, every time! You will be required to carry out a variety of treatments. As a spa therapist, you would be expected to support the wider team and your manager by ensuring revenue is maximised through careful diary management as well as promoting product sales.
THE DUTIES
Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful, and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations, playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way.
- Perform a variety of spa treatments including massages, facials, and scrubs.
- Provide treatments for both male and female guests.
- Provide full aftercare advice to each guest depending on their needs.
- Consult with guests to assess their specific needs and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Provide exceptional guest service and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their spa journey.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of treatment rooms and spa facilities.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and sanitation in accordance with spa protocols.
- Staying up to date with the latest trends and best practices and being prepared to gain further qualifications in line with business demands and personal development.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
- You will be highly attentive, and intuitive with strong communication and interpersonal skills and be confident building relationships with our hotel guests. You will be friendly, enthusiastic, and driven to ensure our Spa thrives.
- You must have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Beauty Therapy.
- Proven experience working as a Spa Therapist in a reputable spa or wellness centre.
- Proficiency in a variety of massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and aromatherapy.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Weekend availability is required.
